Who should take Ready, Set, Teach! online professional development courses?

Although any teacher may benefit from these courses, each one is specifically designed to relate to the career/technical classroom and lab situation. Course content has been developed by instructors who have spent many years in the career/technical classroom and have taught college-level teacher education courses through traditional methods.

These courses are not intended to substitute for a degree in the educational field, but rather to enrich and extend your existing knowledge, initiate ideas that can be transferred to your own classroom, and provide professional development credit to teachers who do not have time to enroll in traditional classes.

Is credit given for Ready, Set, Teach! professional development courses?

Professional development credit hours are awarded for each course completed. Credit hours may be converted to CEU credits by your institution. The number of credit hours awarded are based on the course hours and completed course requirements. Requirements for each course include any assignments, a course review, and participation in the threaded discussions. A Certificate of Completion for 10 professional development credit hours will be emailed to participants who successfully complete the course.
